About
Meet Melissa Moe, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in therapy for children and adolescents in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. With close to a decade of experience, I help kids and families feel supported, understood, and equipped to move forward with greater confidence.
I provide a safe, compassionate space where children and teens can express difficult emotions, build trust, and develop healthier ways to cope. My approach is warm and collaborative. I meet each child where they are, then bring in evidence-based tools so the work is both comforting and effective.
My approach
Every child is unique, so I draw on a blend of approaches tailored to their needs: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic techniques, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. I believe families are partners in the work, so I keep parents informed and collaborate with schools when it helps.
